Some nice people.

This whole thing resolved itself pretty well, Community Bike Network. Apparently the the bike store in my neighbourhood is like, the most expensive one in the whole city or something, because I went there this morning and just got freaked out by the prices. I mean, $30 and UP for a seat? Give me a fucking break... so anyways I phoned CBN to find out about the bike share program and they told me not to bother. A used seat should be no problem to get, just not to go to the place near me cuz it was crap. They even offered to give me one for $1 (see why we should all love them?) if I came into the office on Monday (they were technically closed when I called). I didn't want to wait until Mon, so they recommended a few other places nearby. I rode my bike - sans seat - and headed up to Harbord. The dude at the second place I went to was awesome. One of those intensely car-hating types... but nice to me, since I ride my bike :D I mean this dude was extreme, he even disliked the TTC! On second thought I think he just disliked paying for the TTC when a bike will always get you where you want to go. He had a seat lying around installed it and all for $10, worth the extra $9 by not having to pay TTC/walk all the way to Bloor/Yonge tonight for Keshia and saves me TTC fare for my outing tomorrow.

Timing is a great thing. Just when I was getting extra pissy and worried about stuff, two really nice, kind people help me out. Yay for them! :D

Awww, I guess that means you're still stuck with the crappy bike :( But on second thought, you're way better off than those idiots we saw last night in the TTC with the bike shoved in the turnstyle, ROTFLMAO.

Neal, what's the contact infor for the Biking .org?
I need some maps of Ontario biking trails, and also a new seat :( Man, these seats go fast if you use them every single day.
